Oracle Reports 6i on Windows98  and IBM DB2 on AIX - Reports

Hi,
I have installed Open Client Adapter and ODBC and ODBC connects
to DB2.
When I connect to DB2 with Sql*Plus , I am just able to connect
but I get this message also.
Do I need to run some scripts that creates data dictionary views
for Oracle Tools to connect to Non-Oracle Datasource (in my case
it is IBM DB2 on AIX )?
Thanks

ODBC via OCA

Hello
I am trying to access a ASA 6 database via
ODBC/OCA. In SQL*Plus, it worked, although
some messages appeared:
SQL*Plus: Release 8.0.6.0.0 - Production on Fri Apr 27 08:38:40 2001

ORA-00022: invalid session id; access denied
Connected to:
Oracle Open Client Adapter for ODBC 6.0.5.29.0

But, when I tried with forms designer
(6.0.8.11.3), it showed a strange dialog
box, with the title "Forms" and two
graphical signs (| |) where should be the
message.
I tried this in Win95 and Win2000, and
with others ODBC drivers/databases (Access,
DBF) with the same results.
What can be wrong?
Thank you

connecting to db2 from report builder via odbc

Hi!
Some manuals said, it is possible to connect to DB2 from Oracle SQL*Plus (we have version 8.0.6.0.0)
and from Oracle Report Builder.(6.0.8.11.3)
User must install OCA (Oracle Open Client Adapter for ODBC (6.0.5.29.0)) and make ODBC entry.
I did it.
run with: plus80 db2user/db2pass#odbc:db2test
SQL*Plus made the connection, but with errors:
---
SQL*Plus: Release 8.0.6.0.0 - Production on Fri Oct 17 16:12:56 2003

The error refers PUPBLD.SQL, but I think it is Oracle specific, don't help.
---
Worse, that it can't connect from Report Builder, it just throws error.
---
If I set OCA_DEBUG=TRUE in registry, I have bonus messages:
oca-30053 unsupported network call (oracle code: 3115)
oca-30002 ubofssw function not supported (1010)
---
I tried to connect to MsAcces too, but I got same errors.
Have you any idea, how can I solve this?
Thanks

Does anyone have any idea why connecting as system/s#obdc:polite would give the results above? I think the database is fully patched and my ODBC drivers are up to date. I've checked and ODBC administrator knows about POLITE. I'm totally stuck. Any ideas?
